Chiropractic is a healthcare discipline that emphasises the inherent recuperative power of the body to heal itself without the use of drugs or surgery. The practice of chiropractic focuses on the relationship between structure (primarily the spine) and function (as coordinated by the nervous system) and how that relationship affects the preservation and restoration of health. In addition, doctors of chiropractic recognise the value and responsibility of working in co-operation with other health care practitioners when in the best interest of the patient. What we treat: As Chiropractors we apply specialist techniques, i.e. diversified, activator and cranial sacral, to relieve/release muscles, ligaments, joints & spinal stress. Ian McTear qualified with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chiropractic, followed by supplementary courses in: Patient Management, Diversified Chiropractic Technique, Activator Technique and Cranial Sacral Technique in Bournemouth & Oxford. Since qualifying, Ian has specialised in incorporating many different chiropractic techniques, styles and practices including: Post Isometric and Positional Release Techniques, Acupressure & Scoliosis Analysis and is an expert in Posture and Postural Rehabilitation. Ian has a keen interest in postural deficits & structural distortions. He strives to educate his patients on the benefits of postural correction & rehabilitation, through chiropractic treatments and ongoing light exercise. Ian is a member of the College of Chiropractors and is fully registered with the General Chiropractic Council. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation and Refunds: We do not issue refunds. An available alternative date will be provided to reschedule your session subject to sufficient notice give (see below) , if you are not able to make it subject to adhering to our advance notice policy (see below), 100% payment will be forfeited. For Full Day appointments(4 hours to 8 hours): 72 Hours advance notice is required otherwise 100% payment will be forfeited. For Half Day appointments (3-4 Hours): 48 Hours advance notice is required otherwise 100% payment will be forfeited. For 1-2 Hours appointments: 24 Hours notice is required otherwise 100% payment will be forfeited.
