WHAT IS HOPI EAR CANDLING?

 

A pleasant & non-invasive treatment. Also known as Thermal Auricular Therapy, this holistic therapy is used primarily to treat and relieve conditions of the ear, nose and throat. It has a soothing & massaging effect.

 

A proven alternative to ear syringing. Hopi ear candles are an ancient and natural therapy that can offer relief from issues such as sinus problems, compacted ear wax, tinnitus and headaches.

 

Quite different from conventional wax candles, a Hopi ear candle is actually a cotton tube, infused with beeswax, honey and therapeutic oils. Not only is the treatment beneficial for the upper respiratory tract but also for the circulatory and lymphatic system, making it a whole body treatment.

 

Hopi ear candle treatments can also help to reduce inflammation in the ears and sinuses, relieve the symptoms of hay fever, rebalance your body’s natural flow, and generally calm and relax you when life is stressful.

 

The treatment includes a deeply relaxing mini facial massage to activate pressure points to initiate the healing process.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT?

 

Each treatment will last approx 60 minutes.

​

During a Hopi Ear Candling Treatment you will lie on your side, in a comfortable position and the therapist will stand at your head. The Hopi candle is gently placed just inside the ear and lit.

 

The therapist holds the candle steady with their hands placed lightly over the ear. You may hear a slight crackling or fizzing noise as the Hopi ear candle burns and you may also feel a pleasant warmth around the ear, head and neck area.

 

It does not hurt and many clients fall asleep during the treatment.This will be finished off with a soothing CBD oil Lymphatic facial massage to help further detox the ENT (ear/nose/throat) channels.
